Yoga in the workplace

Workplace wellbeing has received increased focus over the past few years and in my opinion has become even more important for businesses to have a wellbeing programme in place.  There is much research on  workplace wellbeing and the benefits it brings for employees and businesses.  Offering yoga classes in the workplace (via Zoom or face to face) could be part of this wellbeing programme.

Some benefits of yoga in the workplace can be :-

  • increase energy levels
  • reduce fatigue
  • calms the mind
  • improves concentration, memory function and creativity
  • can help reduce stress/tension
  • reduce physical discomfort in the body
  • gets employees moving – which has so many health benefits
